THAILAND TO SELL PACKAGE TOUR BASED ON ROYAL CELEBRATION

BANGKOK, June 13 Asia Pulse - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will sell package tours to some places where royal guests have visited during the royal celebrations this week.
TAT deputy governor Santichai Ua-jongprasit said the tours, to be sold in July, will take tourists to places such as Huay Hong Krai Development Center and Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, which Prince Albert II of Monaco visited yesterday.
Mr. Santichai said Princess Lalla Salma Bennani of Morocco visted Chatuchak weekend market and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg also visited Chatuchak market and Or Tor Kor market.
He expected the Chao Phraya River tours to be popular among tourists thanks to the Royal Barge Procession.
